These dessert bars are a delicious treat and are easy to make. Butter and sugar are creamed together until light and fluffy. Then eggs are added in with vanilla. Next flour, cornstarch, salt and baking soda are mixed in a separate bowl. The dry ingredients are added to the wet ingredients. Chopped animal crackers and rainbow nonpareils are folded into the mix. Then the dough is pressed into a baking pan. The blondies are cooked until golden.

1cupbuttersoftened
3cupsgranulated sugar
4large eggs
4tspvanilla extract
5 ⅓cupsflour
2tbspcornstarch
2tspbaking soda
2tspsalt
4cupschopped circus animal cookies
4tbsprainbow nonpareils
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 F and line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper. Using an electric mixer cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs in one at a time, mixing well in between. Add in the vanilla and mix again.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, salt and baking soda.
Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Add in the nonpareils into the dough and mix.
Fold in the chopped animal crackers.
Gently press the dough into the prepared baking pan.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the cake tester comes out clean.
