Baking with candy is a great Halloween treat or a good way to take advantage of the post holiday candy sales! The cookie part starts out as a basic sugar cookie with brown sugar added in. Chopped Butterfinger candy bars are mixed into the dough and pressed into a baking pan to be baked. After cooling, a frosting is made with peanut butter, butter, vanilla and powdered sugar. The frosting is spread onto the cookie bar and more chopped Butterfinger candy bars are sprinkled on top.
