Baked Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops

These pork chops are easy to make and a quick dinner option. Breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, lemon pepper, garlic salt, onion powder and Italian seasoning are mixed together in a bowl. Then pork chops are dipped in an egg wash before dredging in the breadcrumb mixture. Next the coated pork chops are placed on a baking sheet. Melted butter drizzled over the pork chops before baking until golden brown.

Ingredients

  • 8 ½ inch thick boneless pork chops 6 oz each
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • ¾ tsp garlic salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp dry Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup butter melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line the baking sheet with foil. Place a baking rack on top of the foil, then, liberally spray with cooking spray.
  2. In a shallow bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, ¼ tsp garlic salt and ¼ tsp black pepper.
  3. On a plate mix together the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, lemon pepper, ½ tsp garlic salt, onion powder and Italian seasoning.
  4. Season each pork chop with garlic salt. Dip each chop into the egg wash.
  5. Then dredge each piece in the seasoned breadcrumbs mixture. Press the breadcrumbs firmly onto each pork chop. Arrange on the baking rack.
  6. Drizzle each pork chop with melted butter.
  7. Bake in oven for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown, fork tender and reaches an internal temperature of 145 F.
  8. To brown further, broil each side for a few minutes.
  9. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
