Apple Fritter Waffle Donuts

This delicious recipe combines an apple fritter and a waffle. Chopped apples and cinnamon are added to a waffle batter recipe. Then the batter is cooked in a waffle maker. After cooling and cutting the waffles into segments, the waffle segments are fried in a deep fryer or air fryer. Next the hot waffle donut is dipped into a glaze of powdered sugar, milk and vanilla. These waffles are cooled before serving so the glaze can harden.
