Air Fryer French Fries

This recipe makes quick and easy French fries. Potatoes are cut into strips then rinsed with cold water and patted dry. Next the potatoes are tossed with olive oil, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. The fries are placed in the basket of an air fryer and cooked for 15 to 20 minutes until golden. Continue cooking in batches until all the fries are cooked.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sized russet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 380 F. Slice the potatoes using a fry cutter, or slice them into ¼ inch strips.
  2. Rinse the potatoes slices in cold water and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a medium sized bowl toss the potatoes with olive oil, Italian seasoning, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
  4. Place the fries into the basket of the air fryer in a single layer. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Toss the fries at the 10 minute mark to ensure the fries are evenly cooked.
  6. Serve with ketchup or fry sauce.
